Thank you for taking time to learn more about the policies involved in ministry at Trinity. The policies of our church are intended to guide how we live our lives together as a faith community, as kindly, as safely and as fairly as possible. As with all human creations, they are subject to review and updating as needed.
Our policies also summarize the 'best practices' of the ministry teams most relevant to their use. They are written through the joint efforts of those teams, with input from outside consultants. Please contact our office if you have questions.
Trinity Church-United Methodist is committed to providing protective care of all children, youth, vulnerable adults and volunteers who participate in church-sponsored activities. Our Safe Sanctuary policy is a “social structure that is consistent with the gospel,” allowing the spaces and activities where we gather to worship and serve God to be places of trust.
Marriage is a gift from God. The guidelines, policies and procedures in this handbook have been established in order to preserve the sanctity of our facilities and your wedding ceremony. We offer this handbook to guide and assist you during the many preparations you will make in anticipation of this special day.
