Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, many of our children's ministry programs have paused, moved online via Zoom, or taken a different shape. Please see the calendar on this page for our upcoming ministry activities, or contact Jeni Tesch at firstname.lastname@example.org with questions.
Sundays | September – May
All children age 3 through Grade 7 are welcome to join in on the Sunday School fun!
Parents/guardians of children in grade 5 and below are asked to check in their children at the kiosk by the nursery & library area before the worship service. Children in grade 6 and above are able to check themselves in.
After check in, classes begin downstairs in the classrooms. Classes are divided into four age groups:
- Preschool & Kindergarten
- 1st & 2nd Grade
- 3rd & 4th Grade
- 5th, 6th, & 7th Grade
Our classes follow a curriculum called Spark Lectionary. Our students are often learning about the same scripture reading that the adults are hearing in worship!
Worship & Check Out
Following our time in the classrooms, classes make their way to the sanctuary to join the congregation for the end of the worship service. We often talk about what they've learned during Children's Time. All children can be picked up and checked out in their pews after the service.
First Sunday of Each Month | May – August
Epic Journey began in 2019 as a way for children of our congregation and community (Kindergarten to Grade 5) to participate in a United Methodist-based summer program. Epic Journey meets the first Sunday of each month (May, June, July, and August) from 10:30am — 1:30pm. Each month has a different theme, and new and fun faith-based activities are created around the theme. Lunch and snacks are provided.
Wisconsin United Methodist Camps
Trinity Church encourages all children to attend camp! There are many faith-filled options for all ages and interests offered by the camping ministries of the Wisconsin Conference of the United Methodist Church. For more information about camps and scholarships talk to Jeni or Carrie, or visit the Wisconsin United Methodist Camps website.
