We aspire to:

    Facilitate community events with speakers who advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community.

  • Organize

    Organize writing opportunities, creating, and sharing art and music for LGBTQIA+ artists.

    Read and discuss books by LGBTQIA+ authors.

  • Screen

    Screen and discuss LGBTQIA+ movies
    and documentaries.

  • Hold

    Hold events that provide an opportunity for connections.

  • Be open

    Be open to other relevant ideas and events.

Who is an Ally?

  • You Listen & Learn

    An ally recognizes the need to listen and learn to better understand the experience of LGBTQIA+ individuals and the community.

  • You Examine Barriers

    An ally is up to examining barriers
    faced by LGBTQIA+ individuals in family, at school, at work, and in the world.

  • You Offer Support

    An ally may offer support in both quiet conversation and to the surrounding community.

  • You Are Diverse

    Allies are diverse. They present a variety of gifts and are ready to help.

Some Things Allies Do:

  • Study Resources

    Study materials from a variety of resources, such as PFLAG and Reconciling Ministries.

  • Find & Debunk

    Study biblical passages that support inclusivity and debunk passages that hurt gender expression.

  • Share Experiences

    Share real-life situations and how to face them with grace and love.

  • Support Safety

    Create a safe place where confidentiality is practiced.
