Hello Trinity Family,

Thank you so much for the warm welcome! I already feel incredibly blessed to be part of such a magnificent and faith-filled community. If you haven’t had a chance to watch my introduction video yet, I’d love to take this opportunity to share a little bit about my passion for children’s ministry and why I believe so strongly in its growth and impact here at Trinity.

Already this year, we’ve witnessed several beautiful baptisms during our services—what a powerful reminder of God's goodness and love. Each baptism reflects our shared commitment as a Church: to walk alongside these children as they grow in Christ. We live in a challenging world, and raising our children in faith can feel overwhelming at times. As families, we deeply desire to teach our children about God—but the biggest question we often face isn’t what, but how.

The Bible gives us guidance, but it’s not always easy to apply its teachings in the face of modern struggles. Mental health concerns are rising, and our children are facing pressures earlier than ever. That’s why I am so passionate about creating a vibrant, inclusive, and nurturing children’s ministry—one that reflects Christ's love and is truly accessible to every family in our community.

To make this dream a reality, I need your help.

Please continue to bring your little disciples to our services and share the word with others in your circles. Trinity’s Children’s Ministry is here to serve all families, and together we can grow something truly meaningful.

Exciting Changes: Welcome to Ignite

I’m thrilled to announce that we’re beginning a new chapter with our children’s ministry—we’re rebranding! Our new name is Ignite —because our mission is to ignite faith and passion in the hearts of our young disciples. Communication and connection will be key pillars as we grow, and you’ll be seeing lots of exciting updates in the coming weeks.

Summer Programs

While summer offers a well-deserved break for many of our volunteers, we’ll still be offering engaging programs during Sunday services:

Nursery (Birth to Age 2):

Open next door to the sanctuary from the start of service. Need extra time to settle in? We open 15 minutes before and stay open 15 minutes after service so you can connect and get situated.

Children Ages 3 and Up:

After our children’s message in service, we’ll gather at Ignite, located in the lower level of the Church for fun games, snacks, and even some special neighborhood outings and creative projects!

I want every child to experience God’s love in a safe, joyful, and welcoming space—a place to learn, grow, and make lifelong friends. There’s so much more ahead for Ignite, but we can’t do it without your support. Let’s build a ministry that blesses our entire community—together.

If you ever need prayer, or have any questions about our children’s ministry, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Thank you again for this opportunity—I can’t wait to journey alongside each of you and your amazing families.

With joy and faith,

Gavin Walsh

Just SOME of our Ministries & Programs:

  • Sunday School

    September — May

On most Sundays during the school year, kids in PreK-6th grade are invited to leave the 9:30am worship service following Children’s Time to have safe, fun, and engaging Sunday School classes. We offer a few classrooms to provide kids opportunities for learning and fun at their age level. Students can be picked up from their classrooms downstairs following the worship service. Friends are always welcome!

  • Nursery Care

A staffed nursery is available just down the hall from the sanctuary on Sunday mornings during the 9:30am worship service. This beautiful, newly refreshed space was created just for our young families in mind!

  • Wisconsin United Methodist Camps

Trinity Church encourages all children to attend camp! There are many faith-filled options for all ages and interests offered by the camping ministries of the Wisconsin Conference of the United Methodist Church. For more information about camps and scholarships talk to Haylie or Pastor Eric, or visit the Wisconsin United Methodist Camps website.

  • Vacation Bible School
