Mark serves as the Visitation Minister at Trinity Church and is a newly Certified Lay Minister in the United Methodist Church. Throughout his certification process, Mark has focused on ministering to those who are unable to attend worship—this includes homebound individuals, residents in assisted living facilities, and those in hospice care.

He partners with the care team to provide support for those in need of a visit, whether they are hospitalized or simply seeking connection. As Mark says, “It is critically important to be there when someone is in need.”

Since 2007, Mark has been a member of Salem United Methodist Church in Fond du Lac, where he has served in various roles. He continues to follow God’s call to serve and has found deep connection with Trinity’s mission: “Caring for all God’s people by serving those in need.”

Mark and his wife Jeannie share a blended family of six adult children and fifteen grandchildren, ranging in age from 7 to 22. Their family keeps them joyfully busy. In his free time, Mark enjoys reading and woodworking.
